While in the security line for a trip to Las Vegas with his wife-to-be Katy Perry, Russell Brand reportedly “assaulted” a paparazzo.

Brand was then interviewed by airport police and taken into custody for suspected battery. He and Perry, 24, did not board their schedule Delta flight to Las Vegas. The star will be booked at the LAPD Pacific division, a spokesperson said.[US]

It was the paparazzo who placed Russell under citizen’s arrest. This story just stinks to high heaven. These paparazzi are out of control and goodness knows what he said and or did to Russell or Katy Perry.

I am totally team Russell on this one, and I don’t even know the whole story.
