Elisabeth Moss’ not yet former husband has already moved on with co-worker. Not. Shocking.
Last week (August 13) news broke that Mad Men’s “Peggy Olson”, Elisabeth Moss, and her SNL husband, Fred Armisen, had parted ways back in May. NOW we get word that Fred was snuggling up to SNL co-star Abby Elliot.
“They’ve known each other for a few years from being on SNL together but after the split, Fred sought comfort in Abby. They just started dating a few months ago. “Fred and Abby are getting to know each other in a romantic way and taking things slowly. But they’re enjoying each other’s company. It’s early days,” says a source close to the couple. [L&S]
Wait a minute, a FEW MONTHS AGO would be May or so… and that’s when Elisabeth and Fred supposedly split. No one finds this convenient? No one thinks that MAYBE there might have been SOMETHING going on while Moss and Armisen were on separate coasts?
Oh but luckily a “friend” of Elisabeth’s thought it was OK to blab to the magazine, saying Moss won’t even care that her still husband was shacking up with his co-worker.
A friend of Elisabeth’s tells Life & Style, “Elisabeth is doing great and focused on Mad Men and is enjoying the single life. This news won’t even phase her.”
Won’t even phase her? Wow, she’s stronger than I am. Even if the split had been “amicable” if I found out my former husband was snuggling up to someone at the same time we split, I’d start to question if they were fooling around BEFORE the breakup. But that’s just me.

Tonight on the Travel Channel’s Man v Food, Adam Richman heads to Indianapolis to take on the Big Ugly Burger. Ooooh tasty.
TONIGHT Adam travels to Indianapolis to conquer four-22 ounce hamburgers at Bub’s Burgers and Ice Cream. Check out this sneak peek video where Adam explains that in 42,000 attempts, no one has completed the Ugly Burger Challenge.
But before he takes on the Big Ugly Burger, Adam sees what else Indianapolis has to offer.
During his visit to the home of the Indy 500, Adam is ready to race for taste. In the “Circle City”, Adam first stops at Edwards Drive-In, home of Indy’s Holy Trinity: a homemade root beer, basket of crispy onion rings, and a pork tenderloin sandwich. Every day 500 Holy Trinities fly out the door, but none will compare to the surprise that awaits Adam.
Next, at Gray Brothers Catering, Adam gets a taste of authentic home style, Hoosier hospitality. Adam assists the kitchen in making one beautiful strawberry pie, and homemade meatloaf from scratch. At the restaurant that has the ability to create “home on a plate”, will Adam get his loaf on?

Angelina Jolie will not be playing Marilyn Monroe in new film.
Well thank goodness. I told you yesterday that there was a terrible rumor that Angelina Jolie was going to be playing Marilyn Monroe in the new movie, The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog and his friend Marilyn Monroe. (George Clooney is also rumored to be in the movie playing Frank Sinatra)
While promoting SALT in London, she told the paps:
“This is a new rumor,” “It sounds very nice – I just haven’t got the phone call yet. You guys will probably know before I do.” [US]
Her rep also shot down this rumor.
“Angelina is NOT attached to this project.”
There is one movie, though, that AngieJo WOULD like to happen.
“I’d love to do a [Salt] sequel,” she told reporters. “You never know if you’re going to get the chance, if audiences are going to love it.”
Despite the luke warm responses I heard about the movie, this will more than likely happen. Angelina seems to have niched herself into the woman who does action movies role. And producers love it.
