French actor Gilles Marini made an appearance last night at the Charlie St. Cloud Premiere last night. The Brothers and Sisters actor brought his lovely wife out The Regency Village Theatre in Westwood.

If you didn’t know, Lindsay Lohan is in jail as of yesterday. She had been sentenced to 3 consecutive 30 day sentences at the Lynwood jail followed by 90 days in a rehab facility.

Wow, she’s going to be gone for a long time, right? WRONG. Word today is that Lindsay will only spend 13 days out of her 90 day sentence.

Yup. 13/90 days.   I can’t keep talking about this because I’m going to bust a seal.

Now that Simon Cowell has announced he’s hightailing it out of American Idol this year, there has been an awful lot of speculation as to who will be taking his place. There was word that Poison frontman, Bret Michaels was being courted, but that is said to have ended. So who can take the place of Simon? Would you believe Chris Isaak?

The network is determined to land a widely known music industry figure for the post, and THR has learned that singer Chris Isaak has met twice with the network.[THR]

Another name in the running? Harry Conick, Jr.!

I just don’t see either of these two being cruel enough to the people on the show. I mean, they make good mentors, but I don’t know if they can be brutally honest.

I may have to start watching American Idol if either of these two men make it.
