Before last night’s finale of America Idol, all I was hearing about was that Bret Michaels was supposed to be showing up. The whispers were spreading like wildfire, and what do you know, he showed up. Looking like he needed a nice long nap, Bret performed “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” onstage. (Come now, isn’t there another song?)

But while I knew he was going to be onstage, it seems his Doctors and Family did not!

“The doctors, I didn’t tell them I was going to do this,” he told UsMagazine.com. “I never told them I was coming here. They’re going to find out in a few minutes!” As for his family, “I may not have told them, either,” he added.

I know he’s a rock star, and is promoting his win of Celebrity Apprentice, and just enjoying that the world gives two cents about him again, but DANG IT BRET, you almost died! THREE TIMES! You might want to tell your doctors that you’re going to be doing something like this. SHEESH!

Oh and Bret will be on Ryan Seacrest this AM and George Lopez Tonight!!! Don’t push it too hard, rock star.

Last night’s Glee was full of Lady Gaga and KISS, and it wasn’t just the Gleeks that loved it.  Queen of the monster army even enjoyed the show.

“I love Glee,” the singer told Entertainment Weekly. “I went to a musical theatre school, and used to dream that someday the students would be singing my songs.”[via People]

I’m sure that fat royalty check Gaga received helped her love of Glee to grow for sure!

And why is everyone ignoring the KISS element. There was just as much of their songs as their was Gaga! And their outfits are just as outrageous.

Pssh whatever.

Last night (May 25) was the Los Angeles premier of “Get Him To The Greek”, the new movie starring Russell Brand and Jonah Hill.

Russell brought along his fiancee, singer Katy Perry, as his date for the evening. These two are just hot together. Oh, and Katy calls them the new Brangelina. Yup.

“I do feel like the new Brangelina with his movie coming out on Tuesday, Get Him to the Greek. We’re going to the premiere tomorrow and everything is happening at the same time. Which is somewhat of a blessing because if one of us wasn’t working, we’d get annoyed with each other.” [eonline]
