Wow, the first thing I have to say is the size of the food was smaller than I had expected. But this is a the Fresh DIET not the fresh pig out plan! So I am am still VERY EXCITED to start this
I feel like a star with my very own green insulated bag with the plastic zip tie.
Today we had
Breakfast- cheese crepes with caramelized bananas
Lunch – Greek Salad
Snacks- vanilla pudding, apple pistachio muffin
Dinner- orange roughy with carrot and rutabaga mash and roasted fennel.

So, after the brouhaha that was yesterday, I started my Fresh Diet meals today.
Breakfast was tasty! I took forever to eat it, and paid attention to every bite, because the serving was about HALF of what I normally eat. The crepes were very very good. And the bananas weren’t sweet, but they were very tasty too.
Then I did some work, and 2 hours later, I had my snack, the muffin. It was also very flavorful. But nothing overbearing.
After more work and running around, I had my Greek salad. I eat salads all the time, and there was enough of it. For a while at least. (oh, and I had 7 saltines. I was very hungry, and the salad wasn’t going to do it for the next few hours)
So, more work, then I was SUPER HUNGRY! That salad didn’t last too long. But I had to run more errands, so too bad for me. Tasted the vanilla pudding, but didn’t eat it all yet.
I am about to sit down to dinner, the orange roughy. SMELLS FANTASTIC. The mashed carrots were very good! With the pineapple sauce? I need to make this sometime for dinner. It was just so good.
As for that vanilla pudding? I put it in the freezer, and had it for desert. Mangos were a nice surprise. Very yummy, not too sweet and perfect size.
I put the bag out to get picked up, so let’s see if the driver remembers where I live tonight.
