Ok i’ve gotten a few messages about my “Mad Hatter” link. And here’s why.

ACTOR Johnny Depp made a statement in an interview about director/child rapist Roman Polanski. Depp and Polanski worked together on the 1999 film The Ninth Gate.

When asked about Polanski’s arrest and possible extradition to the United States to FINALLY serve his sentence for raping a 13 year old girl this is what Johnny had to say.

“Why now?” Depp asked rhetorically. “Obviously, there is something going on somewhere. Somebody has made a deal with someone. Maybe there was a little money involved, but why now?” Polanski, Depp continued, “is not a predator. He’s 75 or 76 years old. He has got two beautiful kids, he has got a wife that he has been with for a long, long time. He is not out on the street.”[From the Independent via Celebitchy]

I have a few responses to this. First of all, to the “Why now?” Why not now? Why was Polanski such a COWARD that he FLED the United States for 30 GOT-TAMMED YEARS?

And the fact that he has a wife and children only makes it worse. That means some woman, KNOWING his past, knowing he was fleeing justice, put that aside for love? money? security? And had CHILDREN with him?

And just because you have CHILDREN doesn’t mean you’re not a disgusting human being. If you were such a big man before, feeding champagne and drugs to a CHILD and then raping her, while she and her family TRUSTED you, you should be MAN ENOUGH to pay your time. No matter when they catch you.

And yes, Johnny, he IS OUT ON THE STREET. Well, he WAS until he was put under house arrest.

I have totally lost respect for Depp.
