The adoption for actor Willie Garson (Sex and the City, White Collar) and his 8 year old son is final! The adoption was run through The Alliance for Children’s Rights and Westside Children’s Center in Los Angeles and everything was finalized on Wednesday!

“From the first time I met him, I said, ‘That’s my kid,’ ” says Garson, 45. His biggest challenge so far as a single parent? Helping Nathen with his homework.

“He’s in third grade, and I’m in the third grade,” [via People]

He originally announced the adoption of his son in 2008!
