More Cristiano Ronaldo for Emorio Armani

Earlier this month we brought you a sneak peek at Cristiano Ronaldo’s new advertising campaign for Emporio Armani. Now we have even more to show you!

I am looooving the water shot. Especially since he’s not flinching.

So do you think Real Madrid footballer Ronaldo is filling AC Milan’s David Beckham’s “shoes” well enough?

Scarlett Johansson for Mango

Formerly buxom actress, Scarlett Johansson, is the new face and body for clothing line Mango. These new ads show the fashion line’s Spring/Summer 2010 line.

According to Luxuo

The campaign was shot in NYC by photographer Mario Sorrenti and styled by Damián Sánchez, the Creative Director of Mango.

These prints remind me of the Miu Miu ads that Katie Holmes did in 2009.  I think it’s the coloring.

Mango is no stranger to celebrity spokesmodels. Mango has done former campaigns with Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica Cruz.

Betty White Honored by the SAG awards TONIGHT!

Actress, and animal lover, Betty White will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award tonight on the Screen Actors’ Guild Awards tonight. (This is the main reason that most people I know are watching, we all love Betty).

During rehearsals for tonight’s show, Betty was surprised with a birthday cake from the crew. Her birthday was January 17.

She looks genuinely surprised and happy to have such a surprise.

See the SAG awards tonight on TBS and TNT.

Mikhail Baryshnikov & Annie Leibovitz for Louis Vuitton

One of my “old man crushes” is Mikhail Baryshnikov. I loooove his work ethic, how he mentors young dancers, the fact he still takes care of himself, and is still dancing. And he’s very attractive, too. (If you need help remembering who he is, besides one of the greatest dancers ever, he played Aleksandr Petrovsky in Sex and the City).

Lucky me, Mikhail is now in new Louis Vuitton ads. Ok ok, LV wanted Annie Leibovitz to be the subject of their new ad campaign (to help her out with her money woes, you know) but she insisted that other people be in the ads with her.

Antoine Arnault
, LV’s communication director, said this about Annie and her new campaign.

“She’s a real, pure, 100 percent artist,” enthused Arnault, who insisted on ponying up for her chosen co-star, ballet legend Mikhail Baryshnikov. “We’ve always been very committed to her, to her talent.”

As for the final photo-

Taken in Leibovitz’s New York studio, the photo depicts the dancer barefoot on a podium, and the photographer eying her subject, her own three-year-old monogram Neverfull bag next to her and stuffed with books. The tag line reads: “The journey of a star, captured in a flash.”

What do you think? I’m kind of over Annie Leibovitz at the moment. She’s just saturating the market…

Rob Lowe to Leave Brothers & Sisters

After three years on the show, Brothers & Sisters, Rob Lowe is leaving.

Lowe joined “Brothers & Sisters” shortly after the start of the series in the fall of 2006 as a recurring and was quickly promoted to regular, playing Sen. Robert McCallister.

Ug, I have watched that TERRIBLE show, and I have to say that Rob Lowe and Gilles Marini were the only reasons to watch. And Gilles is not a permanent character!

Now, Rob Lowe isn’t leaving due to money, he’s leaving to do better things. (I swear that show is awful, so taking over for Billy Mayes would be better).

The exit is not as dramatic as Lowe’s 2002 departure from NBC’s “The West Wing” after four seasons over a salary dispute.

And Lowe may continue on ABC.

“We would like to keep Rob at ABC,” the network’s entertainment president Steve McPherson said in a statement. “We feel he should be anchoring his own franchise. We are in talks now.”

Ok I take that back, any job is worth having right now… so Lowe walking away from a paying sure thing gig is a BAD idea. Even if it does suck.
