Hello darling. Yes I AM fabulous!

Actress, Helen Mirren, may be gorgeous and talented, but she understands the desire of other women to get “a little work done.” And she doesn’t really see anything wrong with that thankyouverymuch!

“You go, ‘I don’t want to look at that face anymore,’ and I understand that, absolutely,” the actress, 64, tells the British morning show GMTV. [via People.com]

And she refuses to judge women who seek out cosmetic treatments to make themselves look younger. “I think people should be allowed to do whatever they want to make themselves feel happy,” Mirren says.

Helen may have had the desire to get a little something done, even if just a fleeting desire, when she was measured by Madame Tussauds waxworks museum.

“To be measured by calipers, every inch of you, it’s a bit intimidating,” she told GMTV. “Every inch of you gets measured!”

So what was the final outcome like?

“It was absolutely like having yourself next to yourself,” she says. “It was very weird.”

Helen’s wax figure will be displayed in April. Hopefully by then, she will still be displaying her own with confidence as well.
