Wow, who knew someone had it in them in Hollywood. Angelina Jolie wrote an editorial piece for Newsweek, titled “Justice Delayed is Not Justice Denied,” regarding the ongoing tragedy in Darfur.

Jolie complains that Obama’s administration “has not yet announced any serious moves” to bring corrupt Sudanese leaders to justice.

“I believe President Obama … will do [his] best to bring peace to the region,” Jolie writes, but she seriously questions his policy. “How is the Obama administration’s approach to Sudan an evolution of justice?” she writes. “In addition, when the administration says it intends to work to ‘improve the lives of the people of Darfur,’ I would like to know what that means, besides the obvious point that their lives could hardly get worse.”

Um, wow! Most in Hollywood would rather eat their young than say something about questioning Obama, IMO. But, she goes on…

The 34 year-old actress worries that if the administration doesn’t deal more forcefully with Sudanese officials, future leaders could continue to “pocket financial assistance and aid relief” and “act with impunity.”

She also recommends a new report “funded by the Jolie-Pitt Foundation” that the administration and the U.N. should use to the prevent future atrocities worldwide. Jolie adds: “On this Human Rights Day–the same day President Obama receives his Nobel Peace Prize–we must also remember those who have been deprived of their rights.”

Now, we all know Jolie is a master planner,and she knows ANYONE that questions the current administration gets a ton of press. And she’s using this to her advantage for her cause.

Quite the clever woman.

THIS?!?! This is the BEST that HBO could come up with for Sex and the City Movie 2? REALLY?

I am one of the BIGGEST SATC fans, and I HATE the direction that it went in the last movie, and this one doesn’t look to be going much better. I know Sarah Jessica Parker is the producer and all… but this is ridiculous.

Listen, HBO, because I know you really care what I think. The show was great when you remembered that it was an ENSEMBLE cast. Carrie was there only as an anchor, not as the only one people were interested in. There are 3 other women in the show. THREE!

In fact if Carrie wasn’t in the second movie I’d be fin with that. There was WAY too much of her in the first movie. (but we know she’s all over this movie, too, because of the paparazzi photos HERE)

The kick butt trainer on The Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels, didn’t know about the Tiger Woods fiasco until she read about it on Twitter.   But, that doesn’t mean it surprised her.  Not in the least.  The king of the golf course once hit on a good friend of hers!

“He put the moves on a very good friend of mine,” Jillian says. Though she didn’t say when the incident occurred, “I knew he was an ass**** ages ago, I did,” she said at the Biggest Loser season-eight finale in LA on Tuesday night. “Sorry. I didn’t need to watch the news to find that out.”

Wow, there you have it.  I don’t know why she came out with this little tid bit now… but at least she didn’t out him back then.  Not that having a married person hit on you in Hollywood is anything new.

I wonder how long ago this was!

Ok so there’s this gawd awful photo shoot with Lindsay Lohan and two models, supposedly channeling Kate Moss and Johnny Depp‘s 90s relationship.  LL basically is just sitting around smoking, showing her tatas, and behind.  There ya go. (see more photos at Dippedincream)

But now we get VIDEO to go along with it.

Photographer Yu Tsai told Page Six: “I was always fascinated by Johnny Depp and Kate Moss, and when I asked Lindsay to do a shoot, she jumped at the chance. It was all about her being sexy, channeling Kate from the ’90s. When I suggested adding another girl, Lindsay invited Sofia, who is a friend and a dancer for Madonna.

“The three of them were very sensual and provocative, but Lindsay understands this piece was created not for any sensational value other than artistic integrity,” Tsai said. “There was never a discussion about pushing the boundaries. She was totally comfortable with the nudity as long as it had artistic integrity.

“When you see her nipple, it just happened in the moment. She was playing the role of Kate Moss — you’re at a party and you are with a guy you really love and another girl.

“She is stunning and radiates in the pictures. Lindsay is incredibly focused where it comes to her career and fashion is her passion. It’s raw, it’s exposed, this is her at her best. She told me: ‘I want to make this iconic.’ “

Ummmm iconic isn’t how I would describe this shoot. It’s kind of smutty. And dirty. And not a real stretch for a party girl.

I must say that the male model, Petey Wright, does look an awful lot like Depp in the video.  Not so much in the photos, though. But he’s the only high point in the video.

Best return your gifts, Uma Thurman has called off the engagement to her millionaire boyfriend Arpad Busson.

The actress broke off her year-long engagement to Swiss multimillionaire Arpad “Arki” Busson on Nov. 15. “The engagement ended awhile back – almost two months ago,” says a source. “They remain friends.”

The couple began dating in the summer of 2007, and one year later, Busson proposed with an 8-plus carat engagement ring. Just don’t expect to see that ring on Thurman’s finger anytime soon. “She will probably give it back,” says the source. “She wants to return everything that is his.”

Um, I hate to tell you this but when you give back EVERYTHING that belongs to somebody, you’re not likely to remain friends.

Why don’t reps just say, “They split up, that’s it.” None of this “they remain friends” BS.
