Taking her Julie & Julia show on the road, again, Meryl Streep enjoyed herself on the red carpet. Meryl was walking the red carpet at the 4th annual Rome Film Festival.

I love it when actors have reached a certain level in their career and they don’t have to be stiff on the red carpets. They can actually *gasp* HAVE FUN!

Not sounding as creepy as Papa Joe Simpson, but awfully close, Amy Winehouse’s dad, Mitch Winehouse, spoke out about how Amy is doing.  And that includes her newest assets, her breasts.

On Wednesday, Mitch Winehouse told British TV show This Morning that his daughter is, “Fantastic, fantastic. Her boobs are great as well.” He then smiled and said, “I shouldn’t have said that should I? She looks absolutely fantastic.”

At least he acknowledged that he shouldn’t have said that. I guess, though, if everyone has been talking about her new implants, why not make light of it? It’s still creepy, but in a funny way.

I do wonder, though, why she got that done.

On a more serious note, though, he spoke about her sobriety, and how it’s going.

Her taxi-driver father said that she is faring well and “has not been sick now for a year.”

But the battle is ongoing. “There is no total recovery. It’s a recovery. It’s a slow, gradual recovery,” he said. “If you look back to where we were a year ago, you know we are in a different planet. We are in a different space and a different time and a different person. We all are. We’re all recovering.”

That sounds fantastic! I wish Amy and her family the best of luck with her recovery!

Renee Zellweger lands in Vancouver Canada with a LOT of luggage and sporting her new uniform. Knee length leggings, zippy sweatshirt, and sneakers. Rumor is that she is in Canada to spend time with her rumored love bug Bradley Cooper. Cooper is in Vancouver filming the A Team. No….really.

So what do you think of Renee’s outfit? She seems to be wearing it a lot (see HERE and HERE). Is she just working out ALL THE TIME?

He has an Oscar (Good Will Hunting), and has hit movie franchises (Bourne and Ocean’s 11). Now Matt Damon wants to direct!

“I can’t wait to direct. I choose my movies based on the director and so I’ve been treating the last 12 years like a film school.

“All the directors I’ve worked with have been very tolerant of my questions. The next step is for me to try it myself.”

“I’m not in a rush. The jobs that I’m getting not only are really exciting for me as an actor but I’m still working with people that I have a great deal to learn from.”

I wonder if Matt will work with “cousin” and BFF Ben Affleck? Ben if currently directing and starring in The Town being filmed in Boston.
