Not only are they two of Hollywood (and Boston’s) most well known best buddies, but Matt Damn and Ben Affleck are related!

The actors/do-gooders are descendants of bricklayer William Knowlton, Jr. (1615-1655), of Ipswich. He was born in England but made his way to America in the 1630s.

I guess this would explain how both of them caught the Sexiest Man Alive title from People?
