Mel Gibson's Malibu DUI Cleared
Call sugar t!ts and break out the champagne! Mel Gibson’s 2006 DUI has been cleared from his record.
Gibson had filed papers in September 2009 to have the DUI expunged from his record due to completing all the requirements of his probation.
Gibson successfully attended a 12-step programme for 11 months, underwent an alcohol abuse education course, and also handed over his driver’s license for 90 days as part of his rehabilitation.
In July 2006 Mel Gibson was pulled over in Malibu and his infamous arrest occurred.
And in case you were wondering, no this isn’t celebrity justice in California. This is how it goes. Actually, from what I’ve seen, Mel got it a little harder than most.
