Celebrity sports couple, golfer Greg Norman and tennis star Chris Evert, married just 15 months, have called it a day.
Of course, there is the obligatory statement
“We will remain friends and supportive of one another’s family.”
But something must have happened. I mean, just over a year? Aren’t you still in the glowey lovey honeymoon stage at that point? Maybe it was guilt? They had gotten together while still married to other people (oops). Or maybe it just wasn’t meant to be. Norman’s ex-wife , who he was married to for 25 years, has her own theory.
Norman’s ex-wife Laura Andrassy, who was awarded £60million after their divorce two years ago, yesterday claimed the couple were ‘narcissistic people’ who wed ‘in the throes of lust’.
The 59-year-old said: ‘Here were two people very much alike – high-profile and narcissistic – and that would make a relationship difficult.’
Hmmm, but let’s get down to what’s important. WHO get’s the house?!
