Some may call it denial, but when you have spent the past 10 years or so getting pranked by George Clooney, I can see how Matt Damon may thought his suits were too tight due to a practical joke. Not due to too many midnight snacks.
“I have the opposite of anorexia. I look in the mirror and I think I look great.
“I put on some weight, not for a film just in my normal life, and suddenly none of my suits fitted. I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ I took another suit out and it didn’t fit either.
“Honestly, what I thought was that somehow George Clooney had gotten in and paid somebody to slightly hem them. My wife said to me, ‘Could it be that maybe you’ve put on some weight?’
“I’m like, ‘That’s absurd! I look fantastic!’”
“The truth was, of course, that I was a fat a*s. I can’t believe it made more sense to me that George Clooney paid somebody to hem my suits than to admit I actually didn’t fit in my suits.”
I love that he has been pranked so many times by George Clooney, that he immediately thought his suits had been altered. No way he had put on too much weight. Matt HAD put on a great deal though for his latest movie released, The Informant.

This has been one heck of a year I tell you. We have decided to go over the top 5 “MAD AS HELL” moments in movies. You know, that point in your life when you have played by the rules for so long, then you realize everyone around you never has. And it’s just time to say Forget This Mess! Or, “I’m As Mad As Hell, And I’m Not Going To Take It Any More!”
So in light of my *lovely* neighbors, kids who scream at 10pm, mooches, and leeches, I give you Busy Bee Blogger’s Top 5 Mad As Hell Moments in film.
I am so digging George Clooney’s new girlfriend. Italian model and TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis is beautiful, and holds herself well in public. But she also keeps Clooney, a well known prankster, on his toes. The comely twosome were spotted on the dance floor at the Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Italy. Clooney gave Canalis a kiss on her neck, so she turned favor and gave him a squeeze on the tush!
He then pulled back and looked at her for it.
I love that she does this stuff while still looking like a lady. He may have met his match! For now at least.
One of my favorite comedians, Eddie Izzard, has done a tremendous fete, he ran over 1,100 miles throughout the UK to raise money for Comic Relief (you can still donate here). That is 43 marathons in nearly as many days! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? I was able to follow his whole trip via his twitter (@eddieizzard) where he would often posts photos of his trip and people he met along the way.
Talk about a bad ass.
After Eddie was greeted the day after he completed his 43rd marathon in London by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, he talked to the press saying that he was hoping to run for some sort of political office in the next 10-15 years.
Eddie, star of the FX series The Riches, has stated his desire to enter politics before so I wouldn’t doubt that this will really happen. But how many people will really vote for a comedian/actor who often wears women’s clothes? Well, he IS British….
It doesn’t sound like a good thing when the man who made a whole television series about eating all sorts of food, in large quantities, is doing a “mystery challenge”. Man Versus Food won’t tell us what tonight’s challenge is! The only clue we get from Adam Richman’s trip to Sarasota is that the owner of the 4:20 Cafe is that the owner wouldn’t eat it.
The other restaurants Adam visits seem much more inviting.
Adam’s first stop is to The Old Salty Dog on City Island to try their specialty, which he describes as the “hungry man’s holy grail”. This is a foot-long hot dog, covered in beer batter, and then fried. Oh, but that’s not all…you can get it with the works (cheese, onions, and bacon). Oh super yum!
Next, Adam visits Yoder’s Restaurant to feast on their Amish comfort food and amazing pies. Adam hunkers down to some fried chicken and their famous peanut butter cream pie. Um, yes please!
