Top 5 Mad As Hell Moments

falling down michael douglas

This has been one heck of a year I tell you. We have decided to go over the top 5 “MAD AS HELL” moments in movies. You know, that point in your life when you have played by the rules for so long, then you realize everyone around you never has. And it’s just time to say Forget This Mess! Or, “I’m As Mad As Hell, And I’m Not Going To Take It Any More!”

So in light of my *lovely* neighbors, kids who scream at 10pm, mooches, and leeches, I give you Busy Bee Blogger’s Top 5 Mad As Hell Moments in film.

See it all after the JUMP!!

5. Scent of a Woman (1992)

There were so many Al Pacino movies that almost made this list, but his “speech” at the end of Scent of a Woman where he speaks about being a real man of honor, while Chris O’Donnell looks both proud and embarrassed, and Philip Seymour Hoffman is the cocky little brat across the way, speaks well if you listen.

4. 1976 Network

You can’t have a whole list that’s “MAD AS HELL” and not put Network on here.

3. American Beauty 1999
Kevin Spacey as Lester loses his job, or did he win?

2. Falling down (1993)

Michael Douglas plays a man who has lost his job in the defense industry, and just realizes society sucks. The line “YOU FORGOT THE BRIEFCASE!” just says it all once you watched this movie.

And the #1 spot?

Fried Green Tomatoes

Skip to around 5:40 If you have reached the age of 30, this just about says it all. You have paid your dues, and it’s about time you just grab life by the neck and take what is yours. Don’t ever mess with Kathy Bates. Haven’t you seen her in Misery?

If you have others that we overlooked, leave it in the comment section.

I forgot how much I loved “Falling Down”.

The one that gets my adrenalin pumping is in “True Romance”–the fight between Patricia Arquette and James Gandolfini. I love watching it over and over.
