Now that Brad Pitt has over shared, again, about his past pot use, Dr. Drew has now stepped up to talk about it.  Brad had told Bill Mahr that he had given up pot in order to be able to focus on being a father to his six kids.

“You have to wonder how much pot Brad was smoking. Was it a chronic problem? I don’t know. But to the extent that he had to quit because he felt it was interfering with his parenting abilities is bothersome.”

While Dr. Drew also thinks that daddy Pitt should have kept his past pot use out of the press because of his kids, he does have a few suggestions for Brad.

“Don’t lie to your kids. The horse is out of the barn. Here is what I would tell him (Brad Pitt) to say I wish I hadn’t said that, it would have been better for you to not know what I did or didn’t do. The fact is why is here is why I think you shouldn’t do it, or I would say I was so badly addicted I had to struggle with it, to stop to make sure I was available to parent you. It’s an unusual situation with this public conversation.”

I wonder what he would have to say now that Inglourious Basterds director, Quentin Tarantino, has come out to say Brad still smokes out in the house with the kids?

Dr. Drew also weighs in on the family’s constant moving.

“Multiple moves are very destructive for kids. I can’t say it’s necessarily going to harm them. They never develop any stable relationships with their peers. It’s very traumatic on many levels. A couple of VH1 programs coming up, some of the patients have moved 20 or more times.”

You mean that changing location every few months is the best thing for kids? I mean, I moved a lot growing up but NOTHING, as close to how often the Jolie-Pitts do!

Lookey who’s back in LA! Holly Madison came back to Los Angeles to spend some time with her Girls Next Door bff, Bridget Marquardt! The blonde mafia headed to the premier of Legally Blonde (hence the pink dresses) and then out to dinner with their men. Bridget had her boyfriend, Nick Carpenter by her side, and Holly was out with her Peepshow co-star Joshua Strickland. He’s a cutey cutey! (btw she talks about him all the time on twitter)

It’s nice to see these two having a good time together again. I wonder who often they actually get together now that Holly’s in Las Vegas. At least Holly got to see Bridget’s new house! How fun!

Not only did Alyssa Milano go and get herself married, but she also caught the cover of People Magazine!   That is a MAJOR get.  Maybe the fact her new hubby, David Bugliari, is an agent for CAA had something to do with that?  Maybe?

And look who we have here on the cover… down in the corner.  That’s Bradley Cooper, a friend of the groom.

It’s nice to see that Milano finally found her non-athlete man.  In 2007 she told Details Magazine (via People) that she was over the dating athletes.

“I’d love to just find a good plumber or doctor,”
“I’ve gotten such s— about my dating choices,” she says. (Her last three boyfriends – Carl Pavano, Barry Zito, and Brad Penny – have all been Major League pitchers.) “Like, every single article … is about how I’m ‘the chick that dates athletes,’ and there’s an insane double standard going on.”

I guess she won’t be hearing that anymore. At least we hope so. Good luck you two!

If you didn’t know it already, Angelina Jolie, is a saint.  Yes, you and I might just see her as another actress who needs to eat a burger, but to many of the children who attend the Okanimekwa school in Namibia, she is someone VERY special.

“She’s a very special person, and we’ll never forget her,” 16-year-old student Emiliana Shikongo tells Life & Style. “She must be a holy person,” adds another student, Andreas Kristofelius, 17. “I think Angelina Jolie must be a saint.”

So what’s with the adoration? In 2006 Angelina and baby daddy Brad Pitt chose to have their first biological child, Shilo Jolie-Pitt, in Namibia. So, when they sold the first photos of Shilo, reportedly for $4 Million, Brad and Angelina donated the money to the children at the Namibian school, as well as other world wide charities.

Does that make Angelina a saint? No. But it certainly did make an impact on these children and their communities, so no snarky comments from me this time.
