The new Mr. and Mrs. Hank Baskett were spotted at LAX yesterday, just a day after their wedding at the Playboy Mansion! (pics here)
Sporting his new platinum wedding band, Hank seems to be very protective over his pregnant wife as they go through security and sign in to get their tickets. But in a very gentle way
Kendra traded her princess dress for a “High Maintenance Bride” tank top and comfy sweatshirt.
I hope wherever these two are headed (out of the country judging by the passports) they get some rest. They’ve had a busy past few months. Before the wedding, Kendra told OK! about her honeymoon plans.
“It’s a private island,” Kendra hinted. “I wanna be able to walk around naked if I want and not have paparazzis!”
Good luck with that one Kendra.
Lots of pics of Hank and Kendra after the jump! (more…)
Umm yeah. Last night were the BET Awards, and it was supposed to be some sort of tribute to Michael Jackson, due to his undeniable influence on pop culture. Well, Joe Jackson showed up on the red carpet, and seemed to be, well, odd. He doesn’t want to talk to the CNN reporter, doesn’t want to answer questions, just seems really arrogant and mean (IMO). Mr. Jackson even had someone else read a prepared statement!
THE WORST part was around 2:15. Poppa Jackson starts promoting his own RECORDING COMPANY! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? sigh…
Watch the video… am I sensitive? or was that just bizarre?
Last night, Kendra Wilkinson of The Girls Next Door and Kendra married Philadelphia Eagle Hank Baskett at the Playboy Mansion. Seeing these photos of the ceremony just changes the whole vibe of the Mansion! It looks so elegant, and so do Kendra and Hank. The bride wore more than $100,000 worth of platinum and diamond jewelry by designer Michael Barin with her full ball gown. The groom and his groomsmen wore white, and the bridesmaids wore violet.
The two married in front of the wishing well with a crowd of 500 family and friends, and fellow Girls Next Door costars Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison serving as bridesmaids. (For trivia, Hugh Hefner proposed to his second wife at the same spot).
Before her brother Colin walked her down the aisle, Kendra told US just how she was feeling.
“I’m ready to marry the man of my dreams,” “He’s one in a million. I’m so lucky.”
I must say, that my favorite part of all of this is Hef. He seems so genuinely happy for Kendra to be marrying Hank. It looks like he even teared up after the ceremony. He also took to his twitter, yes Hugh Hefner has a twitter account, to talk about parts of the day.
I’m going to go check and see how the groom is holding up in the Game House.
The wedding was wonderful. We just danced, and now Hank and Kendra are about to cut the cake!
In preparing for the big day, earlier this week, Kendra took her bridesmaids, mom and grandpa for some pampering at Face to Face Los Angeles. (pics here) Also, the wedding party had their rehearsal dinner at Dave and Busters, one of Kendra’s favorite places, and a big sponsor of her new show on E!
LOTS OF PICTURES of the ceremony after the jump. So gorgeous. BTW Bridget and Holly are all the way on the left.
