I was taking a nap this afternoon when I was waken up by a friend sending me a txt messages saying Michael Jackson had died. What? I thought he was joking, until I got on the computer.

It appears he had suffered from cardiac arrest, and was rushed to the hospital, where he ended up in a coma.

The LA TIMES stated

The pop star is pronounced dead by doctors after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources tell The Times

Michael, age 50, leaves behind three children, Prince Michael I, Prince Michael II and Paris.
