After trying to get the date pushed back, Chris Brown, and his lawyers are due in court today in regards to the alleged felony battery that happened earlier this year with then girlfriend Rihanna.
No photos or video are allowed in the court when Rihanna and Chris are due to testify. They both will enter the courthouse through underground tunnels and the hallways will be cleared.
“This is a bit of overkill,” says on[e] legal insider. “Nothing’s been seen like this since the OJ trial — and that was a double murder!”
Rihanna is expected to testify against Chris Brown, but his lawyers are expected to make things as difficult for her as possible.
“He will do everything he can to discredit the victim in open court,” says one insider. “Perhaps going as far as alluding to the fact that Chris’ actions were required for his own defense. He wants to do everything he can to have this not go to trial.”
The hearing is to start at 1:45PM pacific, but there are fans of Chris Browns that are already lining up outside to show their support.
