Guess who's on the Rolling Stone Cover
I know I know, it’s a surprise. I mean who knew that Adam Lambert, the runner up on that talent show would be on the cover of Rolling Stone? It’s all been so hush hush…. whatever.
And the only things he really talks about, at least in the sections released by Rolling Stone, are his sexuality (yeah he’s gay, I don’t care), and why he chose to go on American Idol. Oh and he disses Clay Aiken. Again.
“I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay…” “Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, ‘I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler,’ ” he tells us. “I didn’t want the Clay Aiken thing and the celebrity-magazine bullshit. I need to be able to explain myself in context.”
In context?? WTH does that mean? I think he knew there wasn’t a story for Rolling Stone to sell if he told reporters he was gay. IMO
As for his American Idol decision after a drug filled time at Burning Man
”I realized that we all have our own power, and that whatever I wanted to do, I had to make happen,”
“I knew that it was my only shot to be taken seriously in the recording industry, because it’s fast and broad,”
That’s it people. You know why? Because there’s nothing else to talk about!! He’s hasn’t even done an album yet. He’s a reality TV personality!!!! I can’t believe he’s on the cover of Rolling Stone. I know they’re just loking to push paper, but this is ridiculous. At least wait until he’s released his album (he just signed a contract to release in the fall).
