Honey Bee

In an earlier post, Rosario Dawson is carrying a clutch with a photo repeated all over the outside of it. I have been getting all sorts of questions about who it is, who made it etc… So here ya go.

It is Jane Fonda’s mugshot from 1971, which she is also currently using on Twitter. (Side note, Rosario and Jane both serve on the board for VDAY.ORG, which is how I met Ms. Fonda in Boston and in Juarez Mexico)

While touring Canada and the US speaking out about the Vietnam War, Jane had been arrested on suspicion on drug trafficking. She was later found to not be trafficking drugs, but rather vitamins. Of course there was a lot more to it than just vitamins…. To read the whole story here
