Singer Rihanna will receive a subpoena to testify at the June 22nd hearing of Chris Brown. But will she testify?

“The DA has advised me that she [Rihanna] will be subpoenaed [to testify],” Etra [Rihanna's lawyer] said. “She absolutely will comply.” He added that Rihanna, 21, would be subject to cross-examination by Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos.

Now, this is not the trial of Chris ‘I ain’t no monster’ Brown. It’s a hearing to find out if there is enough evidence to take him to trial. There’s no guarantee that Rihanna will have to testify at all. The subpoena is to make sure she arrives at court in case they want her to testify.
