Um, I thought Sherlock was a solitary brooding fellow. Not a Vaudevillian stage character/Action hero. But, this is a Guy Ritchie interpretation of the classic, so what did you expect. Coming Christmas Day 2009 “Sherlock Holmes” stars Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes, Jude Law (Dr. John Watson) and Rachel McAdams (Irene Adler).

I can absolutely see where the gay rumors came from even if just from the trailer above! A squabbling lover is not how I imagined Dr. Watson.
