So I was watching Annie Lennox, because I was looking for some real woman power, and I came across the video for Walking on Broken Glass. I love that John Malkovich reprized his role from “Dangerous Liaisons” just for Annie. But that’s not the best part.
Before he was House here in the states, Hugh Laurie was big in the UK, and he found his way into the video as Annie’s escort.
LOVE IT! He plays such the fool, and does it so well.

He’s had experience playing the fool. He was also fantastic as the blithering idiot, Bertie Wooster, in the BBC series Jeeves and Wooster back in the early 90’s.
If you like that you need to check out Blackadder the Third. Hugh Laurie is basically being George IV in that video, the role he played in this absolutely hilarious series.
