The “good friends” that are Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were spotted, and photographed, putting their scrounging skills to the test at the Melrose Trading Post yesterday. While everyone else seems to be needing to categorize their relationship, it seems they just like being around each other, if nothing else.

And whether a friend or something else, does it really matter?

Friday night at The Grove. Movie theatre is packed to see Obsessed. The lights are down, the movie is about half way, when a cell phone stars ringing. Not vibrating, but ringing. One of those really loud ringing ones for people who like to hear it from a mile away. Everyone is looking around to see who the culprit is. This used to be an A list, Oscar nominated movie actress who now really doesn’t work except for keeping her husband glued to her, starts digging through her purse. It is still ringing. She finally gets the phone out of the purse. What would you do if this were you? You would turn it off. Our actress, says, “Hello.” And then has a one minute conversation before hanging up. Yeah, I can’t wait to see her at the premiere of the next movie her husband does, and get everyone to start talking on their cell phones.

So this is where she was off to! Lindsay Lohan left LAX Saturday, to fly off to Maui! Of course what’s the first thing one does when you land on an island? Go shopping at Louis Vuitton, and Gucci!

I can just hear the inner dialog on her looking at the purse, “Does this purse make me look fat?” I mean, I do that pose with jeans, and dresses, not with purses.

And what is she wearing under her shorts? Another pair of shorts? Is this in style again now? The bike shorts under cutoffs?

I’m so out of the loop.

Anne Hathaway and her new man, actor Adam Shulman, made their way to Manhattan this weekend with Anne’s dog in tow. How nice to have a doggie, with a guy, and a lemonade! Sounds like a perfect day to me. If I have me allergy meds that is. Otherwise, being in the park with a dog, would be my own private hell.

They certainly look happy don’t they?
