Singer Kelis has filed for divorce from her fellow singer husband, Nas. Oh it gets better. Kelis is also seven months pregnant with a son.
DANG girl! I really hope this is the best decision considering how emotional pregnant women can be. Of course, her spokesperson had the obligatory statement to People magazine.
“We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time,” the rep says. Nas, 35, and Kelis, 29, met in 2002 at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party and were married in 2005 in Atlanta
And just for fun, let’s listen to Kelis sing the finer points on finding out your man is cheating… not that there’s a reason I’m putting this in this blog. Nope not at all.

It’s sad that they are divorcing. They seemed like such a great match. They even had a really cool wedding. Maybe they will reconcile.
