It seems that Mel Gibson’s wife is just over it. After 28 years of being married to the Braveheart actor, his wife Robyn Gibson filed divorce papers last Thursday stated, “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
And before you start pointing fingers saying Mel was fooling around, TMZ has this
Sources connected with Mel Gibson tell TMZ the couple has been separated for more than 2 1/2 years.
There have been reports that Mel has been involved with another woman, which the actor denies, but we’re told the reasons for the divorce go beyond any third party.
The couple also have 7 kids. Only one of which is still a minor. Robyn will be looking for support for that one child.
