Well, thank gawd for small favors. It seems that the rumored duet between Rihanna and Chris Brown is a bunch of hooey. People reports:
“Chris and [producer] Polow da Don wrote a song together,” says the source. “Around August or September of 2008, Chris and Rihanna recorded a demo of that song. What they recorded were just reference vocals.”
Turns out, the song – called “Bad Girl,” with lyrics focused solely on a women who overspends on designer goods – was never meant to be a duet. Instead, it was recorded by the Pussycat Dolls for the Confessions of a Shopaholic soundtrack.
“There is no duet, and nothing has been recorded together since February,” says the insider.
Knowing this, somehow makes me feel a little better. Why? I don’t know, it just does.
