Where there’s Usher, it seems as of late, there’s drama.  Usher was supposed to perform at Clive Davis’ annual pre Grammy party.  And at the last minute, Usher and his manager mother called to say that he would not be coming for rehearsal, and later, not attending at all.

The reason?  “A serious illness in the family.”  Usher’s rep did not expound on what this is, but there had been rumors that Usher’s wife Tameka may have died due to a plastic surgery procedure gone bad.

Access Hollywood is reporthing that Tameka is suffering from some sort of complication from plastic surgey she was having in Brazil.
