Though paved with good intentions, a $5 stripper “pole tax” was deemed UNCONSTITUTIONAL in Texas. That right, you can’t force anyone to do good things with your handful of singles!
A state district judge ruled Friday that clubs can’t collect the fee. The charge went into effect in January and was expected to raise about $44 million for sexual assault prevention programs and health care for the uninsured.
Judge Scott Jenkins wrote that the fee, “while furthering laudable goals, violates the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and is therefore invalid.”
So there you have it! I can get taxed extra on my coffee, cigarettes, and gasoline, but damnit leave my strip clubs alone!!!

Well that didn’t take long… Even though Beyonce and Jay-Z have yet to say whether or not they even got married last weekend, the NYDailyNews has reported the rumor that this may have been a shotgun wedding. The second for the Knowels family.
Ooooh I see, first Solange gets a baby THEN gets married so Beyonce has to outdo her. Whatever.
