Remember this ad for Armani underwear? Yeah, that’s what it was for, it wasn’t just David Beckham’s personal calling card. On the tonight show with Jay Leno, Becks talked about breaking the news about the ad to his mom, Sandra. How awkward!
“I was so nervous about doing that campaign because obviously I’ve done photo shoots before, but I’ve never done photo shoots in my underwear.
“I was quite nervous because obviously I knew my wife and friends were going to see it.
“And my mum was going to see it.”
He went on to say: “When the photos came out, she was the first one to call me and say, ‘What are you doing?’ I had to try and explain it to her and it didn’t go down that well.”
haha… I LOVE that an international sex symbol still gets flustered around his mom. It’s kind of cute…. Darn you Beckham!
