Here we go!!! Britney Spears‘ daddy, Jamie Spears have been granted temporary control over the care or Britney and her assets. He has also been granted a civil harassment restraining order against “manager” Sam Lutfi.
US has the following…
Jamie now has the power to restrict any visitors to Britney. He is also in charge of arranging 24-hour caretakers for her, as well as security.
In addition, the judge gave Jamie the power to cut off all of the singer’s credit cards and to prosecute any restraining orders on her behalf.
He also has full control of her residence and can legally remove anyone who is staying there. In addition, he has the power to keep Britney in California.
Jamie has control until the next hearing, which is set for Monday afternoon.
This is after Sam Lutfi made some not so kind statements regarding Britney’s family… saying
“Oh boy, her family is crazy!” … “It’s funny because that’s what the doctors say when they meet the family,” he added. “They always come back and say, ‘You know, [her problems] are inherited, right?’
“It’s just so sad. It’s shared equally from both of her parents.”
He told Us the singer doesn’t “trust anything that her family says? Not a g—-n thing.”

Wesley Snipes was convicted Friday in a Florida courtroom of three misdemeanor counts of tax evasion.
Snipes faces up to three years in federal prison for failing to file tax returns from 1999-2001…
The actor, 45, and his attorneys have not yet commented on the conviction.
During the course of the trial, attorneys for the actor admitted he was “dead wrong” not to have paid taxes and that he was would make restitution. In so arguing, they also claimed that no fraud was perpetrated and that no trial was even necessary.
“Disagreement with the IRS is not fraud of the IRS, is not deception,” argued defense attorney Robert Barnes…
Snipes was convicted along with his accountant and the founder of a tax-protest outfit called American Rights Litigators.

Oh goodie. It’s about time they did something. Though I think Jamie’s been trying, but Britney is an adult….
Anyways. Tmz is reporting that Britney’s parents Jamie (dad) and Lynn (mom) have gone to court to obtain control over Britney’s care… and not Sam Lutfi!!! GOOD!
Jamie and Lynne Spears arrived this morning at the County courthouse in downtown L.A. Sources say both parents are extremely concerned about the welfare of their daughter, and upset because Sam Lutfi is trying to call the shots on all matters Britney.
The court has the power to create a conservatorship, which would allow both Jamie and Lynne to make medical decisions on behalf of Britney. The conservatorship would also allow them to control Britney’s financial affairs. Both parents have made it clear: they believe Lutfi’s influence has placed their daughter and her assets at risk.

Ahhh look how cute she looks with her big belly. She’s gonna get HUGE if she’s this big already. But I’m sure she’s usually the size of toothpick so ANY weight she puts on would be a lot and make her look blimpy.
And that man she has, Cash, just has that smarmy look on his face like “Yeah, that’s right, I did that!”
So anyways, the premier of “The Eye” last night in Hollywood. I do like that dress though.

Ah the Superbowl. I love the superbowl. I love watching men bash each other about. lol. But of course the only thing that most people will be discussing are the commercials. Remember the cat wrangler? The zebra as the official? Brad Pitt for Heineken?
Anywaaaaaaaaaaaays, Carmen Electra was at a party to celebrate her new Ice Breaker’s Ice Cubes commercial. When did this start?!? Are we doing parties for commercials now?
