Lori Earley Theft Announcement
Greetings everyone, we have some very unfortunate news to report.
On Wednesday, February 27th at approximately 5pm, an original drawing by Lori Earley was stolen directly off the wall of her current solo exhibition, Fade to Gray, which just opened at the gallery this past weekend. We are releasing this as our official public announcement to alert our clients, collectors, and friends, of this incident—spreading awareness in the hopes that someone comes forward with information leading to the whereabouts of the missing piece.
This drawing “Untitled” was the only piece without a title in the current exhibition. The unframed dimensions are 10″H x 8″W, and when stolen, it was in an elaborate white frame, measuring 16″H x 14″W with about a 3” depth. We have included a photo of the drawing in question, for your reference and identification.
Both the gallery and the artist are extremely upset and disappointed by this theft. We are quite shocked that someone would brazenly steal from us in the middle of the day. We apologize to anyone planning on seeing the exhibition (which is up through March 22, 2008), who will experience the show without the missing piece.
We have a description of the suspect and are currently working with police to try to identify him. Our incident coincided with reports of additional robberies that occurred in galleries on the 4th and 2nd floors of our building, within the same time period. A man fitting the same description was seen in all three galleries, just moments before each robbery occurred.
All reports confirm that the suspect in question is a white male, approximately 6’2” tall, in his mid-to-late thirties. He was seen wearing a blue baseball hat with a navy blue backpack, and he spoke with a very heavy New York accent.
We would greatly appreciate any help you might have with finding the missing work. Amy Winehouse, who is in the process of moving out of her home into a new one, ditched out of her husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s trial to hang with her new Blake, photographer Blake Wood.
Amy had been a main stay at “Bad Blake”s trials, even blowing kisses and mouthing “I LOVE YOU”. During his time in court, Civil kept looking into the court room, maybe hoping to see Amy?
Maybe she just got so busy moving that she forgot?
YAY!!! Britney Spears, after being cared for by family, was able to see her two sons AGAIN!!! She had visits on Saturday, Monday and again Wednesday!! This may be good sign for Britney and her family.
Oh goodie!!! I TOLD you it’s been a slow news week, so it’s time to do the whole, is she or isn’t she pregnant magazine covers. I guess since Angelina took her belly for a walk already you can just pick any name and throw it in the formula. This week, it’s Katie Holmes. OK! is saying she (gasp) gained 10lbs. And is therefore pregnant. ARE YOU INSANE?!?! Girl probably ate a whole piece of bread.
“She has that special glow that only pregnant women have,” an eyewitness tells OK!. “I would say there is a strong possibility that she’s pregnant.”
Now, in order to sell more of their own magazines, US is saying Katie ISN’T pregnant. oh yeah. this is fun.
“She’s not pregnant,” Katie Holmes’ rep tells Usmagazine.com in response to OK! magazine’s new cover story which asks whether the actress, 29, is expecting.
What will they do to make this Amazing?!?! I mean, can things get any more FANTASTIC or AMAZING for Katie? Unicorns would have to come down from heaven and do ballet on lollipop dancefloors for things to get any better.
It’s that time again… since it’s been a slow past few days, for news fromthe Sun. They are reporting that in honor of her late mother, Angelina Jolie will raise her newest biological baby ‘en France’.
Angelina’s mum, actress MARCHELINE BERTRAND, died last year and the star wants to embrace her French heritage by bringing up her new tot over there.
After months of house-hunting Brad and Angelina — who revealed her bump in a tight black dress at the weekend — have bought a chateau in the south of France and plan to make it their family home.
Doesn’t Angelina own a house in Cambodia, too? Or did she sell that? Does anyone really doubt that this family can not only afford to buy a home in France, but also do it? As for raising the child there, that would mean that they’d have to stay put for more than 2 months.
OH! And the Jolie-Pitts are reportedly only have one baby girl, not twins. I know, you were concerned.
HOLY COW!!! What a house! It seems that golf man Greg Norman bought a Florida MANSION for his bride to be tennis star Chris Evert. Is this what you get when you marry a golf guy? Sign me up…. I mean, he can have his half of the house, and I can have mine. We never really have to see each other!!!! It’ll be great.
