Ah to live the life of the rich and famous. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anothony made it to their baby shower in NYC. Too bad it wasn’t in her neighborhood in the Bronx, that would have been sweet!
So um, it seems that a lot of their lovely friends made it and it was hosted by Jennifer Lopez’s Maid in Manhattan producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas. Ah how nice.
Lopez, 38, “looked very pretty – and very pregnant,” according to an eyewitness, who saw the couple arrive flanked by bodyguards.
Among the guests were actress Leah Remini and designer Roberto Cavalli, who gifted Lopez with a pink leopard crib, according to a source. As for the décor, everything at the shower was blue and pink – and the room was covered with Swarovski crystal, said the source.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Swarovski crystals for BABIES!!!!!! Oh t be the silver spooned offspring of these two.
Well, I guess it’s time for another Violet Affleck post. Everyone seems to dig her. Here she is bringing mom, Jennifer Garner to the Grove in LA. It seems that the two of them were spotted going to the office of a Beverly Hills gynecologist who specializes in in vitro fertilization.
Now, it’s been rumored already that Hef is saving some..uh…stuff… for when he’s no longer around so that Holly can have her baby then, so who knows if she’s preggers now, or just later.
Finally, something nice to write about. Not only has he been the sexiest man alive, Oscar Nominee, and all around funny man, but now the United Nations has named George Clooney the “Messenger of Peace” for his work to bring attention to the refugees in Darfur.
The actor is being “recognized for focusing public attention on crucial international political and social issues,” according to U.N. spokeswoman Michele Montas.
Clooney, 46, joins Michael Douglas and musician Yo-Yo Ma as previous celebrity U.N. honorees. Clooney and friend Don Cheadle were given the Peace Summit Award by a group of Nobel Laureates Dec. 13 for their work for Darfur.
With Cheadle and Brad Pitt, Clooney has raised money for refugees through the “Not On Our Watch” charity and helped draw attention to the crisis in Darfur in western Sudan.
I think this is a good thing… but that’s just my opinion.
