Can’t you just call people to do the shopping FOR YOU? But I understand that sometimes you just have to get out of the house!
Katie Holmes took her daughter Suri out for some shopping Beverly Hills last night. Maybe it’s just something she HAD to have before they went to Colorado for Christmas.
What a long strange trip it’s been since I was in Jr High in the early 90’s. The then vice president and Republican nominee, Dan Quayle, derided Candice Bergen’s character “Murphy Brown” for deciding to have a baby without being married. Some questioned him later if he would have rather had her not have the baby at all!
Well this time around, Jamie Lynn Spears is being rallied around in conservative circles for deciding to keep her baby. Republican candidate and Baptist Minister Mike Huckabee had this to say to the CBS NEWS
“Apparently, she’s going to have the child and I think that is the right decision, a good decision, and I respect that and appreciate it,” Huckabee continued. “I hope it is not an encouragement to other 16-year-olds who think that is the best course of action.”
“But at the same time I’m not going to condemn her,” he said. “I just hope that she will make another right decision and that’s to give that child all the love and kindness and care that she can.”
I really don’t have anything to add, other than it’s about damn time that some conservatives stopped damning everyone for messing up. Way to go Huckabee!
