Kiefer Sutherland surrendered to jail Wednesday to begin a 48-day sentence for his DUI arrest.

Sutherland, 40, was processed into the jail in Glendale, Calif., a Los Angeles suburb, at 5:46 p.m., according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. A jail officer described Sutherland as “cooperative.”

Of course he’s cooperative, I don’t think it’d be in his favor to be a jerk!

Earlier today, when he was sentenced the 24 star, and former Lost Boy really didn’t have much to say

Asked if he had any comment, Sutherland smiled and shook his head as he walked away from the courtroom.

ANNNNNNNDDDDDDD Unlike the starlets in LA, Kiefer is expected to spend his entire time in jail. No getting out early, no good behavior, NOTHING…

The stamp commemorating Frank Sinatra was announced Wednesday by Postmaster General John Potter, who called the crooner “an extraordinary entertainer whose life and work left an indelible impression on American culture.”

“His recordings, concert performances and film work place him among America’s top artists, and his legendary gift for transforming popular song into art is a rare feat that few have been able to replicate,” Potter said.

The stamp image will be unveiled next Wednesday — Sinatra’s birthday — at a ceremony in Beverly Hills, Calif.

You know what would be REALLY cool? What if they did a whole serious with Frank, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr.?!?!? heehee

Hmmm, now where to send them? I’m going to have to start writing real letters again!

Crossing Jordan and Law and Order star, Jill Hennessy, and husband Paolo Mastropietro had a son on November 21st! Yeah, I know, talk about postponing the notice.

This is the second child for the couple. Newborn Gianni joins big brother Marco, who is 4.

As we reported back in August , Kiefer Sutherland had been arrested and charged with a DUI after being pulled over. Well, today was judgment day, and he got some time to do.

Kiefer Sutherland was sentenced Wednesday to 48 days in jail for his latest DUI arrest and for violating probation.

[He] was sentenced to serve the time consecutively at the Glendale City Jail, sparing him from the much harsher L.A. County facility. He has until March 30 to complete his jail sentence.

Judge Stuart M. Rice also sentenced Sutherland to five years probation, and he must complete an 18-month alcohol education program and attend weekly therapy sessions for six months.

Hmmm, I wonder what will really happen? Will the judge go all Paris on him? Since it was a probation violation? Or will it be like Lindsay and Nicole with less than 2 hours in the clink?

Here you can bid on clothes and memorabilia that personally belonged to me. I’m donating all of the proceeds from the auction to the Jeremy Murphy Assistance Foundation.

This particular foundation is close to my heart because Jeremy Murphy was part of my brothers platoon in Iraq and was shot in the head. Miraculously, he is one of the lucky ones who survived. This fund will assist in his recovery. Once Jeremy has made a full recovery, the fund will roll over and help the family of Yance Gray and Omar Mora. Gray and Mora were also members of my brothers platoon and died in Iraq. They leave behind grieving wives and baby girls.

Bridget’s dog, Wednesday, will also be having her own auction page coming up… fun!

While promoting his “Make it Right NOLA” Brad Pitt went on Larry King Live on CNN. (to be seen tonight…)

Of course he talked about the Make it right NOLA program, his own interest in house design, adoption, and family.

He did try his best to dodge the “relationship” with Angelina Jolie during the filming of Mr and Mrs Smith.

When Larry asked, “when you’re getting emotionally involved with someone you’re working with…” Brad was QUICK to cut it off there, and responded “Well, that came after Larry, that came after that…” wow, it’s almost as if he’s practiced that answer… not that the question’s getting old!

Brad really is boring to listen to though…. zzzzzzzzzzzzz…. good voice, but man, if he spoke any slower I’d think he had a problem with those cigarettes he’s rumored to enjoy…
