I was wondering what in the world were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie doing in LONDON???? Oh yeah, she has that Beowulf movie to promote…. at least I’m assuming that’s why they are there. Good grief. I don’t know if they brought the kids though or not. That would make, what, 5 locations this year??? Prague, somewhere in France, LA, NYC, now London???

Kim Catrall known as Samantha on Sex and the City, has been quite busy since the series ended years ago.
In 2005 she starred in a West End revival of the stage play, Whose Life Is it Anyway; and, more recently, in David Mamet’s play The Cryptogram at London’s Donmar Warehouse. She spent last summer in Dublin filming the ITV drama My Boy Jack, based on the real life story of Rudyard Kipling, in which she plays his wife Carrie.
But what most people are interested in is her new relationship, with a man 23 years younger than she is, Canadian chef Alan Wyse. Not too shabby, and so Demi of her! Or should I say, it echoes more of her SATC character Samantha…
“When Alan and I first got together three years ago I was a little embarrassed about how close to the storyline it seemed. I was dating men closer to my own age and I thought that Alan would just be a nice little interlude in my life.
But he kept calling and pursuing me. And, you know what, I’m not complaining. I’ve discovered that it’s really interesting to be with a man of another generation because he has different ways of looking at the world. Plus, irrespective of his age, Alan has a lot of wisdom that comes from just being him.”

In light of the low saving rate of those in Japan, a toy company has come out with a creative idea. Toy manufacturer TOMY Co Ltd has designed a piggy bank BOMB that explodes if you don’t feed it on a regular basis. Forget to put in a few coins, and BANG! Coins go everywhere!!
The battery-powered toy — designed as a cartoon-style, ball-shaped black bomb with a skull and crossbones logo — lights up, makes a noise, shakes violently and scatters coins if it is not topped up for a long time.
“Users must pick up and collect the scattered coins and reflect on their laziness,” the Japanese company said.
I love the idea of this, as I have a piggy bank in my living room near the door. But would it work in the US???
Ok comic book fans… here’s your chance to get a collectible. Captain America is BACK!!! Kind of. He will be shown in a video tape in a new comic book made just for the US Military. He had been assassinated earlier this year.
So while he’s not really coming back, just on a video, this is still something exciting for collectors. But if you want this one, yo have to know someone in the military.
One million copies of “The New Avengers: The Spirit of America,” the fifth in Marvel’s series for the military, will be available free starting Saturday at military base stores worldwide.
