Ah the southern California lifestyle. If I had more energy, and the desire, I’d go ride my bike along the beach just like Vince Vaughn. Well, not JUST like Vince. I wouldn’t have photogs following me waiting to bite it.

I’m happy to see Vince riding around. Getting some of the Labor Day grub gone. OH! And he even stopped to give autographs and photos to some fans.

I have spent most of my day looking for Non-VMA news. Especially not Britney or Tommy Lee/Kid Rock news. And trust me it’s been difficult. I had to go to the UK to find it.

I did find a few picks of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes little girl Suri running around her daddy’s set.

The family has relocated to Berlin while Tom is filming.

These are cute pictures, but those “soldiers” in the background kinda make me uncomfortable.

PURE Nightclub was the absolute hottest place to be to kick off a stunning VMA Weekend in Las Vegas Friday night. With P.Diddy hosting the party and a surprise appearance by Britney Spears, club-goers could not have asked for a better experience at the country’s hippest hotspot. Just after midnight the original Bad Boy, P.Diddy, paraded into the club with an entourage of friends including rising star and recording artist Cassie, who was celebrating her 21st birthday.

Almost immediately after making himself at home on the main VIP stage, P.Diddy jumped on the mic to help emcee with guest DJ Ruckus, welcoming the packed house to the best bash on The Strip and wishing everyone a night full of “responsible partying.” With all eyes on him, P.Diddy waved to fans, sang along to all sorts of songs and drove the crowd especially wild when he performed one of his own smash hits of the summer, “Last Night.”

Shortly after, P.Diddy announced the arrival of another one of the most famous celebrities on the planet, Britney Spears, who joined the excitement on the main stage with a group of girlfriends. The two chatted it up for a bit and posed for photos together before Spears grabbed her gal pals for a group dance party by their plush VIP bed. Spears could not hide her happiness as her new single “Gimme More” blared on the speakers and the entire house roared with excitement. Later in the evening, artists Lil’ John, Ray J, Bobby Valentino and Bird Man joined the festivities on the main VIP stage as well.

So I basically stopped watching the VMA’s after Justin Timberlake won the quadruple threat award. (WTF is that?!)

I should have kept watching to see Tommy Lee and Kid Rock go at each other like drunks at the bar. Actually, I’ve seen boys in their early 20s do this, and it’s funny. But it seems really sad that grown men would do this in public, when someone else is performing.

Story is…

According to eyewitnesses, Lee — sitting at the same table as Diddy — jawed at Rock as he made his way toward the Bad Boy CEO, with whom he was supposed to present the show’s final performance. It wasn’t clear exactly what Lee said to Rock, but apparently after his words, Rock slapped the drummer, according to eyewitnesses. Lee, one eyewitness said, attempted to fight back but, before he was able to land a blow, was punched in the face by Rock.

They were BOTH removed from the venue but “Kid” was allowed to return. He was also cited later by the Vegas police for a misdemeanor battery.
