Earlier I posted that Angelina Jolie was in Iraq (say hi to my friends!!). And OK! has the pics. Actually, this picture could have been taken anywhere in the world, including Camp Pendleton about 5 miles from my office, but I’ll take their word for it.

Angie seems to like OK! They were the ones who printed pics of Pax when he came home with the Jolie-Pitts.

In this exclusive shot, Angie poses with Denver native Lance Corporal Samuel Petersen, 22, of the US Marine Corps. The photo was taken today at Camp Waleed in Iraq, near the Waleed refugee camp that Angelina visited this morning. According to Petersen’s mother Sue tells OK! that the Marines at this camp are training the Iraqi police how to do border patrol.

Angie also didn’t tell the kiddies where she was going. Again, I’d say it was due to safety issues.

While her mom is out in Iraq, Zahara takes her royal carriage ride through Central Park with her pa, Brad Pitt.

While accepting the award for Female Hottie of the Year at this year’s Teen Choice Awards Jessica Alba called out a school time crush. Man, I wish I could do that!

“I would like to dedicate this award to a young man who has been on my mind for the last 19 years: Ross,” Jessica Alba, 26, told a rapt audience as she accepted the female hottie award. “Ross didn’t love me. I was pigeon-toed, I had a sway back, I was slightly cross-eyed, buck-toothed, I sucked my thumb.” She added, with a laugh: “Look at me now, Ross! Look at me now!”

The actress elaborated in the press room that Ross “promised that if I kissed him he would choose me for baseball … I was still chosen last. I never trusted men again.”

How many times have some of us thought, “If only they could see me now” ? Some say she’s bitter, I say she’s great!!! haha!

Leave the kids with Brad… Mommy’s hit the road!

Wow, Angelina Jolie was in Iraq and Syria on Tuesday. Who knew?!?! It’s a good thing they kept it hush hush considering previous threats from Al Quaeda while filming in Pakistan.

Angie who is the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, (works with refugees and displaced people), flew to Syria on Monday and visited Iraqi refugees in Damascus. She then went to Iraq on Tuesday to visit a makeshift camp by those who are unable to leave Iraq.

“I have come to Syria and Iraq to help draw attention to the humanitarian crisis and to urge governments to increase their support for UNHCR and its partners,” Jolie said in a statement. “My sole purpose in both countries is to highlight the plight of those uprooted by the war in Iraq.”

Following her Tuesday meeting with those at the Al Waleed camp in the war-torn nation, Jolie said, “It is absolutely essential that the ongoing debate abut Iraq’s future includes plans for addressing the enormous humanitarian consequences these people face.”

At least she doesn’t judge the situation and is (publicly saying) that she’s just there to help the refugees.

Angelina also showed the troops some love by stopping in to see American, and other multi national troops.

You know, Amy Winehouse obviously has issues with alcohol and drug use. Along with her new hubby Blake Fielder-Civil. But it seems that Blake’s parents have a fantastic idea: BOYCOT AMY! Yes that’s right. The gravy train is going to end for Blake if his parents have their way.

But why am I so harsh on these two in-laws? Well, it seems that though they SAY they want both Amy and Blake to get better, their actions speak differently.

Amy’s dad Mitch had this to say about what happened when Amy was released from the hospital a few weeks ago

“We have had medical advice, but the facts are very, very simple - the day after they came out of the facility we had a meeting with the GPs, specialists in dependency issues and eating disorders.”

However Mitch said that Giles and Georgette Fielder-Civil had not fully support that attempt.

“Giles and Georgette [Blake's parents] were due to come to that meeting but they chose to go fro a drink in the pub with Amy and Blake,” he claimed. “We have two families pulling in different directions. We want our children to be safe, but we have different definitions of how we can do that.”

Nice. Get better dear, but have this drink first.
