We got into our mail this morning and there was an official statement from Amy Winehouse. She didn’t really email us personally, it was a blog post from her Myspace.

Due to the rigours involved in touring, Amy Winehouse, who is taking time out to address her health issues, has been advised to postpone her upcoming September US and Canadian tour dates. Amy’s European and UK tour dates in October and November remain in place. There will be no further comment.

Well, whatever the reason, please get better Amy. We don’t need another Billie Holiday.
