Ah the life of someone who’s famous for who they date. It USED to be mostly the women who got famous due to who they dated (hello Elizabeth Hurley), with a few men known for the women they dated (Eric Benet aka Mr. Halle Berry).

Vanity Fair has picked up on the trend of the younger generation of hangers-on who are now more famous due to the women they date.

I guess it was just a matter of time due to how much cash the young ladies in Hollywood make.

Maddox Jolie-Pitt is of course the star of the family. He rocks the ‘hawk, fake tats (please let them look fake) and will always be Angelina’s first. I’m so happy to see her taking him to the book store. ( I need a 12 step for buying books, they’re all over my house!)

Let’s hope she got him some brain building books with some fun stuff. Maybe they were buying things for the other little ones too? That’d be nice of big brother.

The more I see photos of celebrity families, the more I wonder just how difficult it must be to do every day things. Such as, taking your kids to the zoo. You KNOW they were followed the whole time, and the last thing that Suri was paying attention to was the monkey.

Page 6 is reporting that Joe Francis, the “Girls Gone Wild” king, was whining about how Hugh Hefner isn’t standing up for him. Oh shush!

“Hugh Hefner was arrested in 1963 for a similar offense and pursued by law enforcement for decades. It’s sad how quickly he forgets,” Francis told Page Six from the Washoe County Jail in Reno, Nev.

“What I am going through now is exactly what Hugh Hefner went though, and what Larry Flynt went through, and I will prevail, because I’ve done nothing wrong.”

So why isn’t he whining about Larry Flynt?!?!

I don’t think Joe will be getting anything from Hef any time soon. When interviewed by Larry King, Hef had this to say….

“I’m not a fan,” said Hefner, 81, “because I think it’s [exploitative], and I don’t think he’s a very nice guy.”

When asked if Francis was going beyond what Playboy does, Hefner replied: “I don’t see any parallels . . . What sets the magazine apart is it really is a lifestyle publication, you know, with good fiction and good articles . . . It doesn’t have much to do with what he’s doing.”

For some reason, Jessica Simpson was talking to Self Magazine about her manager/father/whatever’s stint as a pastor and how they went to Mexico to help with an orphange.

“The first time I went to that orphanage, I was 16. I remember holding this baby who was found in a dumpster. I wanted to adopt him right then and there. I was like, ‘Dad, can I have him for my birthday, please?’”

I have to admit that when i first read this, I didn’t read the whole thing and thought it was a recent trip and I wasn’t surprised in the least… heehee. I’m so not with it this morning.
