Sometimes the tabloids just can’t make up their minds. Just days after denying this story, US Weekly has THIS to say about Ms. Jolie.

Bad box office numbers can be a real bummer. According to a source close to Angelina Jolie, 32, the actress is “devastated” by the audience rejection of her movie A Mighty Heart (it has earned just $9 million).

“She poured her heart into the story and can’t believe people don’t understand how important it is,” the insider tells Us Weekly in this week’s issue.

It’s basically the same thing that Life & Style said without the “I Hate You BRAD!!!” thrown in. Ok, so I embellished a bit.

I just wonder if she really gives a care about the box office of any of her movies. I mean, did you see the second tomb raider?

And am I the only one who sees this pic (for St John) and is reminded of Peter Boyle in Young Frankenstein when he escapes the castle, playing with the flowers? OK, just me.

After shopping her story around Brit Brit’s former assistant of less than a month does the back pedal..

In spite of reports to the contrary, Britney Spears former assistant Shannon Funk tells OK! that not only was she “not fired” from her one-time position as aide to the troubled pop superstar, but that she is not attempting to sell her story to any media outlets. “I’m not going to do that,” she explained in a phone interview.

Either Birt’s lawyers tracked her down or she’s looking for more money.

With Usher’s wedding to pregnant girlfriend Tameka Foster called off at the last minute, some were wondering why. Ok, I’ll play along, WHAT HAPPENED?

Usher (full name: Usher Raymond) and Forster, a stylist, also “had a lot of differences about the details. For example, the bride wanted barbeque, [and] he wanted to have [renowned chef] Jean Georges cook,” said the source.

As a result of the differences, the wedding “was on again off again for the past few days. [Foster] was calling it off because she wasn’t getting the things that she wanted. The mother was calling it off. … Usher was calling it off.”

BBQ vs Jean Georges?? I love being pampered as much as anyone else, but I’m tempted to say it’s a class thing. That can be very difficult. TRUST ME!

Another interesting tidbit, Usher’s mom wasn’t even invited to the wedding. Remember she USED to be his manager until his gf got pregnant. JUICY!
